Sheffield Tap review in today’s Telegraph

No sign of Celia Johnson or Trevor Howard, but plenty of fantastic Thornbridge and Bernard beers in today’s DT review of the Sheffield Tap here.

  1. I'll there tomorrow! 15mins on the train from my house and it will only be the my 4th or 5th visit.

  2. Visited for the first time a few weeks ago. Sensationally good, from the quality of the beer to the quality of the refurb.

  4. I have visited this pub on numerous occasions. I usually settle for the Thornbridge ales. These ales are always distinctive and enjoyable. However on my last visit I tried a pint of czech lager (Bernard) it was dispensed completely flat and tasted oxidised. I complaned to the barman who was abrupt and rude, the manager eventually came and informed me it was ment to taste that way! I work in a brewery so was unconviced by his excuses. He refused me a refund even tho I only consumed a mouthfull. Needless to say I wont be returning to this pub after such shocking customer service.
