How not to get lost with the Quarrymen

Write up of the Quarryman’s Rest in today’s DT here, a good old Devon pub where a pint of Otter Ale will be appreciated on a day like today (we’ve got snow!), or you might like to go for a walk in the Dales with this man — not only will he wean you off the GPS and learn how to read maps, but he will also find you a good pub in the evening.

  2. Now, I've never had a bottle or pint of Otter I've liked, but others do seem to enjoy their beers. I remember pouring one down the sink after a sip. Have I just been unlucky?

  3. Bailey, think you’ve been unlucky, rarely have had any issues with their beers, when the Head is on song it’s hard to make do with just one.

  4. So lets get this correct. You've a job which involves going round pubs, drinking and writing it up for the torygraph? How does one get such a job?
